The U18 Metro’s became the only Cheltenham team to win a Grand Final this season with a stirring 5-1 win against traditional rivals Blackburn.

The boys played almost flawless baseball to turn the tables on a side that had beaten them in all three previous meetings this season.

The win was a culmination of a great team effort from the whole 12 man squad over the season, and our greater depth was definitely a factor in the Grand Final.

Special mention must go to Ben Cooen who pitched magnificently throughout the whole game and almost secured a shut-out in the process.

Thanks also to all the supporters who turned up to cheer the team to victory.
