Some information about the programme...

The Board of Management encourages all its junior members (ages 13-18) to participate in this  module-based programme.

The objectives of the programme are to:

*    Better coordinate and resource our skills and development
*    Provide a broader base of knowledge
*    Introduce external expertise to our development
*    Grow appreciation of the non-playing aspects of the game.

The Cadetship is anticipated to include the following modules, which would be tracked and completed over two or more years:

*    Club History & Structure                 *    Grounds Preparation
*    Coaching Level 0                            *    Coaching Level 1
*    Scoring (Intro)                                *    Scoring Level 1
*    Umpiring/Rules (Intro)                    *    Umpiring Level 0
*    First Aid Certificate

Completion of the Cadetship will be jointly recognised by the Club and Baseball Victoria, after completion of a season of:

*    Coaching OR Scoring OR Umpiring OR Playing at a State, Provincial Schoolboy - U17
      or U18 Level.
